From a Child prodigy at the age of 5 working on computers back then on the IBM pc 5170 Dallas Native Summer Shepard rarely spent time sleeping or engaging in the child activities,teachers took notice and let her skills come alive on the computers. She has advanced in the industry deemed as Top Infrastructure Engineer and Global Project Manager.
Summer has started her own Independent staffing solutions firm “A Boss Careers” providing Career services, Resume writing and Mentorship services. She also does public speaking engagement and holds seminars for her community to gain wealth. in Houston, TX. where she hopes to spread her knowledge and skills for others to grow and become ‘A Boss” in their own life.
She began her career at Dell Computers at 17 which is the youngest age learning the motherboard and being certified because she asked to stay in the class without having to be 18, quickly advancing under the Michael Dell team of Austin, TX. From there she went on to Lockheed Martin, and interned at N.A.S.A who then hired her full time in less than 3 months while interning. In 2014 She accepted a job with Google as the NE region Texas Ambassador / Technical Engineer and continues to be their product ambassador to this day in 2019.
Summer brings 13 years of technical and leadership experience with opportunities working for Dell, Apple corporate, Google, Lockheed Martin, NASA, Rolls-Royce corporate, Prairie View A&M, and Amazon. Among her achievements she was the first intern to work as ground control at NASA obtaining a full time employee opportunity in less than 3 months. She has held many positions but she self taught herself into the engineer industry grasping the attention of Alley Theatre, Rolls- Royce, Sabic, Google programs, being able to work as an Global Infrastructure Engineer and Global Project Manager.
